About Me
My painting is mostly intuitive, but over time particular themes have emerged and now the work is divided between intuitive exploration and more deliberate research into these themes. These seemingly opposite approaches are somewhat similar to that used by certain landscape painters in that material is gathered in a spontaneous way and then perhaps worked with as well in a more formal way. However, the landscape in my case is interior.
